Some days are wonderful, and some days are miserable.  I used to have a lot of miserable days, so I started making a list of five things every day that had made me happy in the past 24 hours.  It turned out to be one of the best ideas I've ever had.  My good days just got better, and when I had a bad day, my list gave me 5 reasons to smile and stop feeling bad for myself.  The best days are when I make my list of 5 things and have to add more numbers!

So tonight I thought I would share my list because today was GLORIOUS!!!  (As I yelled loudly this morning as I walked out of my apartment haha)  Here goes!

1. It felt like spring today!! There is nothing better than the warmth breaking through the winter.
2. I got to drive with my windows down in a car that runs (Thank you Mom, Dad, and Martel's Foreign Car Shop) and sing EPIC music reeeally loudly.
3. Today the stylist from the Talbots in King of Prussia came down to our store and I pretty much got to be her Barbie doll for the day.  It was awesome.
4. I played basketball with Sam, Zach and Adam against some 11 year olds and the kids dominated. NO FAIR
5. I worked out!!!! Okay sidenote.  When I do ab workouts, I basically get this notion that I am Wonder Woman and have developed abs in 15 minutes.  So when I finish the workout I immediately lift up my shirt with this delirious smile on my face only to have all my dreams crushed when I realize that I still have a super pale belly with no abs.  ONE DAY MY DREAMS WILL COME TRUE
6. Adam and I made Pad Thai like real live grownups.  So cool.

I won't go on and on in case I start to brag but the moral of the story is this: Life is beautiful.  Count your blessings.  Realize the wonder in everyday life.  If you find yourself feeling awful at the end of a day, take five minutes, snuggle up with your dog, your book, your teacup or whatever makes you happy, and make a list of five things in your day that you are grateful for.  Peanut butter and banana sandwiches, your favorite song on the radio, fuzzy socks, Zach Galifianakis, hugs, lollipops in Italian class.

Find your bliss.
